Lane was born to Harriet and Daniel Clark who were divorced by the time he reached the age of ten. The boy grew up in two separate households, each parent wanting to give him the best of the best, so to say he was spoiled growing up is an understatement. But when he was finally able to move out on his own and be independent and free of his strict parents, he was thrilled upon moving into his own apartment. Here, he could pursue his dreams of writing and art, the things he loved most in the world.
